Ejen Ali: Agents' Arena is a 3v3 Battle Arena mobile game developed by Media Prima Digital and Common Extract.[1] It was launched as the first MOBA mobile game released in Malaysia.
Unfortunately, this game along with Ejen Ali: Emergency is no longer receiving updates from the developer for unexplained reasons.
This game became the basis for new Season 3 after the Agent Ali: The Movie, with first episode being MISSION: ARENA.
Description[]
Challenge and team up with other friends in 3v3 multiplayer matches. Defeat and dominate your enemies by capturing bases across multiple battlefields! Choose agents, each with their own unique attributes and skills to coordinate your victory!
Collect and unlock new upgrades to strengthen your agents' abilities and skills and keep an eye out for new maps, characters and game modes as our game evolves!
Closed Beta[]
Before its official launch, the game has already gone through a beta testing phase to gather feedback and improve the gameplay experience.
In January 2020, Ejen Ali announced closed beta registration for Ejen Ali: Agents' Arena on their official Facebook account, where interested players can register with their email address for a chance to participate in the test.[2][3] This closed beta gives selected players the opportunity to try the game early and provide feedback to the developers. In February 2020, they announced the start of the closed beta, which was open to users who had registered on their official website.[4] In this game, players can choose several characters such as Ali, Alicia and others from the movie. These characters have different skills and players can press two buttons, namely the attack button and the superpower. For the superpower, it can be used to perform consecutive attacks and recharge faster when in fighting mode. Players must cooperate to capture objectives up to 100% which is considered the winning team. There are three objectives on the map to capture.[5]
Game Tips[]
- Select Agent: In the Agents tab, players can view a list of playable characters and restore the player's character.[6]
- Character Statistics: Players can also view agent skills and also change player agent equipment.[6]
- Manual Target: Drag the attack button to attack manually. This manual attack is very useful for attacking enemies that use the disappearing technique.[7]
- Special Skill: Hold the Dash button to leap further forward.[8]
- Capture Zone: At the start of the game, players can try to capture the zones on the sides and the middle zone to gain momentum in the match. The zones that are being contested do not generate points for the team.[9]
- Change Profile: Players can change their profile icon and name while viewing their EXP total, AgentID and match statistics by pressing the button at the top left of the main menu to view the player profile.[10]
- Shop:
- Players can change the type of material they have to another material. Press the Shop button and go to the Materials tab. Then, press the tab.[11]
- Players can upgrade their agent's equipment by using materials. Press the Shop button.[12]
- Gear Upgrades: In the Gears tab, players can select equipment to upgrade.[12]
- Join the Agents' Arena Discord: Players can become part of the Agents' Arena community and communicate with other players by joining the Discord channel.[13]
- Rewards: Players can play multiplayer mode to get rewards every time they level up.[13]
- Simulation: Practice with bots in Simulation mode. This mode will not provide any rewards or EXP.[13]
- Find Other Players: Players can add other players to be friends by entering their AgentID or sending a friend request.[13]
Characters[]
- Ali has an Ultimate that can easily defeat enemies when they are in front of the zone.
- Ali can recover energy quickly but a series of attacks without hitting the target is not the best idea.
- Ali's attacks are more effective if the enemy is close.
- Ali's Ultimate is also good for pushing and immobilizing enemies out of the zone.
- Khai is an excellent support, but Khai is weak when left alone.
- With techniques that can push and slow, Khai is the best choice to break Mika's Fortress Mode.
- Khai's attacks can penetrate Mika's Shield and inflict full damage.
- Khai can make it difficult for enemies to move due to his attacks that can slow enemies.
- Rudy is very good at stealing areas of the zone. Players can use the disappear technique and the obstacles available to avoid being attacked.
- When Rudy uses the disappear technique, the health charge increases and Rudy's Ultimate will be slightly slower than normal.
- The disappear technique can make Rudy difficult to target automatically, but can still be hit by attacks.
- Rudy also gains increased movement speed when using the disappear technique.
- Roza is a shooter with high attack power, but uses a lot of energy. Therefore, it is better for players to shoot from a distance and run to replenish energy.
- Roza's attacks are very far away. Players can press the attack button if there are enemies nearby.
- Roza needs to be far behind if there are no team members who can protect her.
- It is better to collect Roza's energy first before attacking again.
- Alicia has a unique attack that splits into three, dealing high damage when all of them hit an enemy. Players can deal maximum damage at close range.
- Alicia's targeting makes it easy for her to know where Rudy is when he uses the vanishing technique.
- Manual targeting has a high chance of being applied to Rudy who vanishes due to the projectile.
- Alicia's ultimate is very useful against enemies that are sitting still.
- The best strategy is to use Mika to get the middle zone early in the game.
- Mika's Ultimate can push enemies away from her and is also good for pushing enemies out of the zone.
- Mika has a Shield that can block enemy projectiles while her teammates are free to shoot from behind.
- Using a Shield can reduce enemy attacks.
Agent Position[]
In this game, agents can be classified into three main positions, namely Carry, Tanker and Supporter.[14]
Carry[]
Carry is a character who will be an attacker and can deal a lot of damage and high damage in a short time or a long time. There are 4 agents for this position, namely Agent Ali, Agent Alicia, Agent Roza and Agent Rudy.
Although these four characters have different ways of playing, they are among the characters who can deal a lot of damage for a short time or a certain period of time.
Two agents in this carry position have a way of playing that is said to be slightly different from traditional carries such as Agent Ali and Agent Alicia. For agents like Agent Roza, he is actually a carry that is considered a 'burst carry.
Burst carry is a carry that can deal damage in a short time and is very easy to defeat the opponent with a hit and run game.
Rudy also has the power to become invisible. He can be a Ganker or Flanker for the player's team by becoming invisible to capture the zone that is left or also be an attacker from behind to attack the enemy with two teams of players in front and the player himself behind.
Tanker[]
Tankers are the characters who are the front line to absorb all the damage from the enemy to protect the zone in the game.
Mika is the only tanker character in this game. Mika's position in each team is important to get and also control the zone.
Supporter[]
Supporter is a character that allows the player's carry to defeat the opponent more easily. Supporter is also an important position to help inflict damage from behind.
In this game, there is only one support agent, namely Khai. Khai is said to be a support for all agents due to his ability to slow down the enemy. Khai can also be a character that will do poke damage to the enemy due to his long attack distance.
Tournament[]
The Ejen Ali Tournament, known as the Level Up KL Ejen Ali Agents' Arena Tournament 2021, was the first e-sports tournament for the Ejen Ali franchise. The tournament took place on 13 and 14 November 2021 and was broadcast live on the Ejen Ali YouTube channel,[15] the MY Digital Creativity Festival platform and the MyGameOn MY TikTok account.[16]
The tournament offers a total cash prize of RM10,000[17] and is part of the Malaysia Digital Creativity Festival (MYDCF) organised by the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC).

- Among the features that distinguish the game Ejen Ali: Agents' Arena from other MOBAs is that this game uses a 3 vs. 3 format, compared to conventional MOBAs which focus on 5 vs 5.
- This game was also reviewed by Facebook Gaming Malaysia's number one live streamer, Muhammad Faris Zakaria or more affectionately known as Soloz at the LEVEL UP KL 2020: SEA Game Showcase event.[18]
- According to him in a short video on Instagram, he said, "The graphics are really beautiful and the game uses three-on-three features, lots of maps and objectives to win."
- He added, "It's more fun to play with friends. The more people you play with, the better! The longer you play, the more agents you can get."
- In an unfortunate incident where Ejen Ali's official YouTube account was hacked by irresponsible parties in 2022, Ejen Ali's first competition video for Agents' Arena was also forcibly deleted before it was eventually successfully restored.[19]
