Rizwan or Agent Rizwan is one of the two tritagonists, alongside Bakar, of the Agent Ali series.
He is an INVISO agent specialized in stealth and disguises, and is well known for his amazing close-ranged combat skills. Known as the "best agent in M.A.T.A.", he is technically the bringer of success on M.A.T.A.'s missions.
Agent Rizwan makes his first debut in Episode 2, as Agent Bakar uses him as a reference to the Inviso Pillar when he was explaining to Ali about the four Pillars under M.A.T.A.. He is well known for his expertise in camouflage techniques which lets him hide in plain sight. His first interaction with Ali was when the General introduced him to Ali. (Quote: "Baik kamu jangan buat apa-apa yang akan rosakkan misi ini.") [translation: "You better not do anything that will mess up this mission."]
Rizwan's first known mission in the series was to save Dr. Tong from the mind-controlling villain, Dr. Aaron. Just as Ali was in danger of being mind-controlled, Rizwan reveals himself as one of the hypnotized security guards, having used his camouflage skills to sneak in undetected, and takes out the surrounding enemies with his Paralyzer Gloves.
Rizwan is known as "M.A.T.A.'s greatest agent" due to his formidable skills as an Inviso agent. He has a habit of showing up out of nowhere to cut into conversations the team might be having with General Rama in the control room.
In MISSION: OVERRIDE, Rizwan was severely injured, courtesy of his former mentor. According to Bakar, he's under treatment.
In MISSION: ORIENTATION, Rizwan has recovered and returned to M.A.T.A.. He meets up with the Chief Pillars and asks them about the events 5 years ago, and wants to know whether they actually planned Djin's death. He is later seen to meet Dos to find out the truth.
In MISSION: RETURN, at the end of episode, Rizwan was supposed to be the traitor of M.A.T.A. He and Dos defeats Geetha, Leon, and Bakar. Ali and Comot tries to attack them. Ali is agitated by Rizwan's actions and tries to finish him off, but Ali was defeated and I.R.I.S.'s Override mode was forcibly activated due to Ali's extreme emotional impulse.
Appearance[]
Rizwan styled his hair quiff-style with a neat side part comb. Rizwan’s agent armor follows Inviso's colour palette, which is silver, black, and yellow. His armor was styled like a formal suit with its lapel up, and patterns on his chest resembling a necktie. He also wore silver knees pad and silver boots with black soles.
After Rizwan deflected from M.A.T.A., he mostly wore black baseball cap, black biker jacket, black t-shirt, black pants, black leather shoes, and his Pressure Pointer Gloves.
One of Rizwan’s disguises is a white formal suit with black t-shirt, a yellow bow-tie, and a pair of black leather shoes.
In Mission: S.A.T.R.I.A., he no longer combed his side-part hair neatly, and sported some mustache and beard. His biker jacket now has checker patterns on his shoulder and vertical lines on its lapel. His knee-length boots has two buckles on it. He still has his black baseball cap and Pressure Pointer gloves on.
Personality[]
Agent Rizwan is known to be cold-hearted and always acted arrogantly towards others. His seriousness and constant stoic expression resulted him to never be seen sporting a sincere smile in the series, and even if he does, it is usually out of sarcasm or a brief smirk. He is cool under pressure and rarely raises his voice, even in an angered state.
Ever since his mentor disappeared, Rizwan closed himself off from others, rejecting any friendly gestures and offers of friendship, preferring solitude and only communicating with other agents in a business-like manner. While he appears to be emotionless, Rizwan has shown strong feelings, mostly anger and confusion, upon the return of his lost mentor, who turned evil and is against M.A.T.A. and therefore also Rizwan himself.
It is shown that he is very harsh and strict towards Ali while training him in MISSION: POTENTIAL. Rizwan used tough love to mentor Ali by not pulling punches with his word nor in his training regime, and even sending Ali on a dangerous solo mission as their final training together. Despite the strict treatment, he does cares for Ali and have faith in his potential, and continue to look out for him even after leaving M.A.T.A..
Rizwan is a quiet person, and he tends to be efficient and focused on the mission objectives[2]. He will do anything to prioritize the success of a mission, and even goes as far as ordering "Gegas Protocol" to Ali so he will chase after Dos and retrieve Azurium back rather than saving their teammate, Alicia. While it was the right thing to do for the mission, it burned the bridge between him and Alicia, as Alicia grew wary of him.
Just like Djin, his mentor, Rizwan has the tendency to act by himself, a trait he unintentionally passed to Ali. After hearing the truth about Djin/Uno, he would rather judge things based on what he sees, hears or experiences by himself, and is willing to take huge risks just so he can seek the truth for himself, such as by deflecting from M.A.T.A. and risking his life to infiltrate Numeros, although no official order from M.A.T.A. was given to him. He is also a person who valued justice and truth[2], and his moral code serve as his motivation to infiltrate Numeros, try to convince Uno to let go of his plan and to seek truce with M.A.T.A., and now to track down Cero in order to protect Cyberaya.
History[]
Pre-Series Life[]
Rizwan was mentored by Djin during his earlier years as a M.A.T.A. agent. After Djin died due to Azurium explosion caused by a terrorist attack, Rizwan started withdrawing himself from others, and kept a mostly strict and professional relationships with the other agents.
Story[]
Season 1[]
Ali and Bakar were assigned to investigate the commotion at Alpha Tower (Menara Alpha), as Dr. Tong suspiciously resigned publicly and appointed Dr. Aaron as his replacement. Rizwan was tasked to save Dr. Tong while Ali and Bakar were assigned to gather intel for him. Mission did not go as planned and Ali and Bakar got into trouble, and Rizwan saved them, making Ali in awed by his amazing skills.
A few days later, Dos and Trez trespassed M.A.T.A. Base to steal I.R.I.S. blueprint drive, and Rizwan and Bakar failed to secure them. That evening, they were tasked to protect the second drive, but was ambushed and Rizwan got injured in the process, losing the drive as well. Ali, Alicia, and Bakar were assigned to retrieve the drives from their hiding spot at Cyberaya port, and Rizwan joined mid-mission to assist them. They report their success to General Rama, and after Ali, Alicia, and Bakar left the control room, General Rama gave Rizwan and Jenny a secret assignment - to track down the mole hiding in M.A.T.A..
Rizwan was appointed the team lead to investigate the disturbances found in all four power plants in Cyberaya - Solar, Wind, Hydro, and the current power plant they are in. Rizwan went to check Solar station, and sent Bakar to Wind station while Ali and Alicia were grouped up to investigate Hydro station. Ali tried to get away from Alicia but Rizwan forced Ali to obey order or he can answer to General Rama by himself. Due to an argument between Ali and Alicia, Alicia trapped Ali at the power plant and left to investigate Hydro station by herself. Ali found Dos and Trez returning to steal Azurium and sent Comot to get the others, and Alicia and Rizwan arrived as backups. Dos went to steal Azurium from the waste disposal and Ali and Alicia chased after her, Rizwan staying behind to deal with Trez. Dos turned off the lights in the area and threw Alicia into the waste disposal as a distraction for her to escape safely. Ali, panicking, asked Rizwan for help and Rizwan told Ali to chase after Dos as she is escaping with a dangerous material. Ali hesitated, as chasing after Dos means leaving Alicia to death, and Rizwan, still preoccupied with Trez, made the hard choice by initiating "Gegas Protocol" to Ali so he can prioritize his mission and Cyberaya's safety over his teammate. Ali disobeyed the order and choose to save Alicia instead, letting Dos and Trez escaped with Azurium. Rizwan ran to the waste disposal area and looked at the missing Azurium and the still alive Alicia, and understood which choice Ali had made after the order.
Because of Ali's blatant disregard to a direct order and for allowing the enemy to escape with dangerous materials at hand, his performance was reviewed by General Rama. Rizwan sincerely shared his perspective to General Rama and offered to be Ali's new mentor, as he thought Bakar's mentorship is inadequate. He tested Ali by making him defended himself against a bunch of droids, before telling him directly that he will teach him from now onward. The next day, he started their training by demonstrating his skill infiltrating a mercenary base stealthily, and told Ali to replicate his action. Ali failed as he panicked too easily, and Rizwan bluntly told him that M.A.T.A. needs a useful I.R.I.S. agent, and suggest to Ali to not waste their time. They trained together by having Ali fight Rizwan, choosing which input to focus on when using I.R.I.S., simulation training, and bot training, and under Rizwan's mentorship, Ali's efficiency with I.R.I.S. improved rapidly. Ali offered Rizwan a lollipop as a form of camaraderie on the last day of their training, but Rizwan rejected it, claiming Ali had misunderstood the situations as they are only here to train, not to made friends.
Rizwan sent Ali on a mission to infiltrate the base of a mercenary group known as Cobra Gang (Kumpulan Tedung) for intels, and they split up with Rizwan going to security room to turn off the alarms and Ali to retrieve the intel from their main terminal. Everything went smoothly until the alarm went off the moment Ali plugged in the pendrive to download intel, and he was attacked by the mercenaries. Ali fought his way out but got cornered by them, and under extreme stress and anxiety, Ali triggered Override Mode for the first time. He used Override Mode to escape from the mercenaries and found Rizwan smiling at him outside the vent he escaped from, before Ali passed out from depleting his energy. Ali woke up and instantly demanded Rizwan to tell him why he abandoned him just now, and Rizwan congratulated Ali for completing a mission alone without receiving any help or assistance. They reviewed about Override Mode and speculated that I.R.I.S. project was possibly abandoned due to its existence.
Rizwan, Jenny, and General Rama arrested Bakar under the suspicion of working for the enemies, and Ali demanded Jenny to show him the evidences. Rizwan walked in and saw the upset Ali and Jenny, and turned back to get away from him, but Ali stopped him, demanding Rizwan next to show the evidences. Rizwan refused and told Ali to accept the reality, and Ali stomped off angrily. That night, Ali and Comot sneaked into the base to investigate and found an unknown number in Bakar's call logs, and triangulate the number to find the location of the caller. Ali and Comot hastily put back the evidences and leave when they saw Rizwan walking at the hallway to the control room. Rizwan felt something was off, and checked the terminal. The terminal displayed the coordinates Ali was looking at previously.
Rizwan went to the coordinates and found the previously stolen Azurium. Comot tried to sneak attack him and Ali followed up, but they stopped when they saw the person to be Rizwan. Ali was confused to see Rizwan there and came to the wrong conclusion that Rizwan is the mole in M.A.T.A., running away from him immediately. Ali ran into Dos, Trez, and Nueve and almost got I.R.I.S. separated from him, but Rizwan arrived in time to stop them. Ali and Rizwan fought against them and almost won, but Uno showed himself and told them this is their last chance to surrender I.R.I.S. to him. Ali recklessly attacked Uno but got taken down, and Rizwan caught Ali and escaped from the area, bringing him back to base.
Back at the base, Rizwan told Jenny and General Rama everything they see at that unknown location. Rizwan wanted to send Ali to M.A.T.A. HQ, and General Rama agreed, telling Rizwan that they will begin preparation to protect Ali at HQ, but Uno intercepted the calls and demanded them to surrender I.R.I.S.. Numeros breached the area and Jenny suggested for her and Ali to hide in the bunker, and Rizwan agreed, preparing to fend off the Numeros while waiting for backups. Rizwan and Ali shared their one last look as Rizwan stayed behind and Ali descended to the bunker.
Rizwan fought off Dos, Trez, and Nueve, but Uno stopped them. He stepped in and offered to handle Rizwan by himself. Uno easily deflected all of Rizwan's attack. He took off his helmet and revealed his true identity to Rizwan - Djin, Rizwan's mentor who died in action. Uno spared Rizwan, but Rizwan stopped them and attacked Uno, refusing to let them get I.R.I.S.. The Numeros proceeded to the bunker and Uno stayed behind. He tried to convince Rizwan to give up and join him instead, and Rizwan refused, stating that he will never betray M.A.T.A.. Uno pulled out his Azurium Blade and sliced a deep cut across Rizwan's chest, injuring him heavily and knocking him out for good.
Rizwan was hospitalised and received cares at M.A.T.A. infirmary after Ali defeated Uno with Override Mode.
Season 2[]
After the event of MISSION: OVERRIDE, Rizwan is filled with uncertainty and confusion. Rizwan ran into Ali at the Academy, and Ali asked about his well-being but Rizwan told him to move aside, as he is determined to get the truth about Djin's demise from the Pillar Leaders - Zain, Dayang, and Ganz. Later, Rizwan hacked the CCTV for M.A.T.A. jail cells and secretly visited Dos. He returned Dos's gadget (Shox Stix) back to her via a droid, and she escaped from the base.
General Rama, Rizwan, Bakar, Geetha, Leon, and Karya had a mission briefing at M.A.T.A. Academy about Dos escape, and were eavesdropped by Ali, Khai, Moon, and Iman. Rizwan apologised for letting Dos escaped, and insisted on taking this mission to redeem himself. General Rama was worried for his health, but relent anyway and let Rizwan take Karya's spot for this task. Ali, Khai, Moon, and Iman secretly followed them to North Cyberaya, and reached the top floor of an abandoned building looking for Dos. They found Rizwan instead, and as their cover was blown, Ali and Comot revealed themselves to Rizwan. Rizwan got angry and forcefully told Ali to leave, and warned him to not get involved. Dos appeared, and Ali hide himself again. Ali was confused to see Dos and Rizwan talking to each other instead of fighting.
Rizwan informed Bakar, Geetha, and Leon about Dos's whereabouts, and they rushed in through the elevator, surrounding Dos. Rizwan steeled himself and took a deep breath, committing to hurting his teammate as a message that he is leaving M.A.T.A. and going with Dos. Ali, feeling hurt over Rizwan's betrayal, jumped out of his hiding spot and attacked him recklessly, causing Rizwan to retaliate with a strong hit on Ali's chest. Overwhelmed with his emotion, Ali triggered Override Mode and attacked both Rizwan and Dos, assisted by Iman, Moon, and Khai. Khai's R-0 bumped into Ali, and Ali, being controlled by Override Mode, is unable to tell between friends and foes, and attacked Khai, Moon, and Iman as well. Before Ali can reached Rizwan, Bakar stopped him and Ali struggled to get out of Bakar's clutches. Rizwan watched the whole scene unfold with guilt, but leave with Dos regardless.
Dos brought him to an abandoned building near Pinggiran, and secretly send a message to Numeros while responding to Uno's call. Rizwan got ambushed by all of Numeros, and almost died to microbugs attack, but Uno stopped it. Rizwan declared to Uno that Uno was right and they should destroy M.A.T.A. for good.
When he came to, he mistook Cinco for Uno and tried to reach him, but fell down to his knees as he is still heavily injured by Uno in MISSION: OVERRIDE and by Numeros ambushed attack. Cinco threw a first aid kit to Rizwan and told him to freshen up, as he is required to retrieve Cuatro for Uno. Rizwan healed himself and promised to leave in 2 hours, but Cinco forced Rizwan to leave in 10 minutes.
Rizwan, Ocho, and Cinco went to Cuatro's hideout, and Rizwan went in alone. He was cornered by Cuatro's security, but Professor Akram stopped after recognizing Rizwan. He brought Rizwan back into his home and let Rizwan rest on a chair, and tried small talks with him. Rizwan brought up about Uno, and Professor Akram pressed a button that restrained Rizwan to his seat. He panicked and Rizwan tried to persuade Professor Akram to calm down and to follow him, but was rejected. Rizwan freed himself from the restrain and knocked Professor Akram down when Ocho and Cinco burst through the door. Since Rizwan succeeded in his mission, Cinco did not get the chance to end Rizwan's life there. Professor Akram told Rizwan not to believe in Uno, to which Rizwan replied "I know".
They brought Professor Akram back to Numeros base and Uno told them the plan - for Professor Akram to replicate I.R.I.S. and for Rizwan to sneak into M.A.T.A. Academy to take down their defense system so Numeros can invade the area. Rizwan tried to persuade Uno to go for an easier place as M.A.T.A. Academy is the most heavily guarded facility of M.A.T.A., but Uno refused as Ali is located there. Later, Rizwan visited Professor Akram at the lab, and propose to him to work together so they can end Uno's plan. Uno summoned Rizwan, and gives him microbug injections as a gift for Rizwan's loyalty to him.
Rizwan trained with Sies and Siete after the injection and managed to defeat them, showing his fast recovery and increase in strength and speed. Rizwan requested for a meeting with Uno, and tried to persuade him to give up his plan and to meet with Pillar Leaders so they can made peace with M.A.T.A. and end this feud peacefully. Uno refused, as he was still angry with Zain's betrayal, and told Rizwan to never brought this up again. Rizwan, realising there's no convicing Uno, pushed Professor Akram to help him.
Professor Akram deleted their I.R.I.S. file, destroyed the computer, and planted an Azurium bomb. Rizwan attacked both Cinco and Ocho who tried to stop Professor Akram and locked them inside the lab. They ran to the exit, but Rizwan went back to plant more bomb around the base. Professor Akram got captured by Trez and Nueve, but Uno told them to let him go and to go check the other area, as he personally will handle Cuatro for betraying them. Uno dragged Professor Akram to the outside of the cave, before revealing himself to be Rizwan. Rizwan pressed a button and bombed Numeros base. He asked if Professor Akram wanted to go with him, and Professor Akram refused, wanting to put M.A.T.A. in the past.
Rizwan turned himself in at M.A.T.A. Academy and requested for a meeting with Pillar Leaders. While Rizwan is ready to take responsibility, they got mad at Rizwan for breaking M.A.T.A. code of conduct, for potentially jeopardizing the organization and for unnecessarily risking his life, and Rizwan defended himself that he helped ended a war before it even happens. Dayang received a call that something unknown is moving towards the Academy, and Rizwan realised Numeros is still alive. His body got controlled by Uno and he destroyed the meeting room, and helped breached the defense system of the island, allowing Numeros to walk in freely and attacked the island. Rizwan helped the mentor in taking down Uno, but they were all defeated by Numeros and Uno, who now has Override Mode by his side.
MISSION: NEO[]
Rizwan made an appearance in one of Aliya's video logs where Aliya defeated General Rama, Rajesh, and Rizwan during one of her training session. In the post-credit scene, Rizwan and Dos were seen spying on Ali and the others at Mamak Maju. They left the restaurant after Ali left with Comot.
In M.A.T.A. Secret Files (Post Mission: Neo Logs), Professor Akram was seen retrieving a few items from the black market for Rizwan. Rizwan was suffering from the pain radiated by the microbugs in his body. He sat down on a chair and asked Professor Akram if he can fully remove them, to which Professor Akram admitted to not being sure it will work. He prepared himself and let Professor Akram starts the removal process.
Season 3[]
Cinco's flashback revealed that Rizwan and the passed out Numeros were left behind at the Academy ground. Rizwan limped away from Cinco who was pinned down by a heavy droid, and she stopped her, telling him that she knows of a way to escape the island. Rizwan helped Cinco lodged the Numeros into a submarine and they left when the satellite attacks hit the island. They parted ways afterward, but Cinco promised to herself that she's going to make Rizwan regretted saving them.
Rizwan fell asleep during the removal process and dreamed of a nightmare where Uno is revealed to be his own self. Uno/Rizwan taunted him that he will has to continue the fight as Cyberaya will never be at peace as long as they haven't win, and that he doesn't has the choice to reject this path. Rizwan woke up screaming and Professor Akram tell him to calm down. Professor Akram told Rizwan that he managed to remove 81% of the microbugs, but it might not be possible to remove it all. He asked if Rizwan was feeling well, but the alarm blared, the CCTV screen showing a Dos trespassing their area, thus cutting their conversation short. Rizwan and Professor Akram went outside to deal with Dos, but Dos easily took down the still recovering Rizwan and Professor Akram. Rizwan's eyes blurred, and he mistook Dos as Uno, causing him to attack her despite the peaceful gesture from Dos. Dos stopped Rizwan from hurting her and showed him her bluish veins, requesting help from them to remove the microbugs in her as well.
Rizwan made Dos helped him find Cinco if she wanted the microbugs removed, and brought Dos along to Cyber Delivery warehouse to track down Cinco and the remaining Numeros. Dos questioned Rizwan's decision to track down Cinco since Uno is now gone, but Rizwan argued back that he is determined to find Cero and Cinco, despite Uno's passing. They found traces of Sies and Siete's football print at the warehouse, and tracked them down to one of Abang Bear's hideout. Rizwan interrupted Trez vs Sies and Siete, took down Trez, and confronted Cinco. Cinco tried to control Rizwan's body, but the microbugs removal prevented her from doing so. She forcefully woke Trez up and they both attacked Rizwan. Sies and Siete tried to escape during the commotion, but Cinco stopped them, and hurt them by wrapping microbugs around their head. Dos, feeling bad for Sies and Siete, jumped in and attacked Cinco, but her body was controlled as she still has microbugs in it. Rizwan helped Dos but almost lost to Cinco, and Dos threw a flash and escaped with Rizwan, leaving Sies, Siete, Trez, and Cinco behind.
Cinco was unaware that Rizwan has secretly mixed in a hidden camera among her microbugs. Rizwan listened in to Cinco's plan, and told Dos, who just had her microbugs removed, to ready up for another confrontation. Professor Akram tried to convince Rizwan to stop poking on hornet's nest so they can stay safe, to which Rizwan retorted back, asking Professor Akram if he thinks his current lifestyle is safe and how long he's gonna keep at it, and if he didn't miss his family and children. Dos side-eyed Rizwan and Rizwan reassured Professor Akram and said his goodbye, thanking him for everything he has done for them. Professor Akram forced Rizwan to bring along his communication device, as this is the least he can do for Rizwan now.
Rizwan and Dos sneaked into Cyberscience Center to track down Cinco, and Dos suggested to split up for an easier search, but Rizwan refused. Dos scoffed at him and called him out for still not trusting her, and Rizwan retorted back at how she can easily leave him now that the microbugs has been removed from her, and that she totally can betray him since she has no problem betraying and leaving her old friends. Dos argued back about how the Numeros aren't her friends, and that her loyalty is with Uno, not Cinco. She told Rizwan that she knew he is the same as her, which is why he is not going back to M.A.T.A., not after everything they did to Djin. Rizwan did not respond and Professor Akram interrupted them as some issue arise.
Professor Akram was confused as to why he can't get visual for a certain area, but got ambushed by Trez and Numeros. Rizwan followed Cinco into the auditorium room and attacked her from behind, only to find out that she was a figure made out of microbugs. Ali, Alicia, and Kim ran into the room, encountering Rizwan and Dos, and the passed out security guards around them did not help their circumstances. Cinco reported Rizwan and Dos's whereabouts to the security guards, implicating them.
Ali was distracted by the fact that Rizwan is still alive, but Kim locked in, not wanting to let the enemies escaped. Rizwan tried to appeal to Ali, but a group of security guards ran in, and Dos kicked Kim, initiating a fight. Kim and Alicia fought Dos while Rizwan fought the security guards, and he easily took them down. Dos almost hit Kim with her Shox Stix, but was stopped by Bakar right on time. Kim, Alicia, and Ali escaped the place to inform the other young agents, and Rizwan and Dos faced the mentors.
They managed to take down Leon, Geetha, and Karya, and before Bakar could continue the fight, the huge jet engine in the room powered by Azurium Lestari start up, and flew around, knocking Bakar, Rizwan and Dos out. Dos wake Rizwan up, and Rizwan tried to contact Professor Akram, but he didn't respond. Dos and Rizwan decided to bail out of there and raced back to Professor Akram's hideout, only to find it burnt to ashes and the only thing remained is a photo of Akram and his family.
The next night, Dos woke up from her nap and found Rizwan still up and looking at Akram’s family photo. She asked him if he has rested earlier, and Rizwan did not respond. Dos sent her condolences for Cuatro, and Rizwan corrected her, saying his name is Akram. Dos nodded in understanding and asked what he is concerned about. Rizwan admitted to feeling like they are missing something, and Dos took their computer and showed him CCTV footage of Cyberscience Center.
Rizwan noticed a slight disturbance from outside their hiding place, and unknown gas poured into the room through the vent. Agent Fit and Agent Bobby rushed into the room and start attacking Rizwan. Dos tried to help him but was stopped by a Combat agent and a Neuro agent. They were both driven to a corner and Dos threw her Shox Stix to the neuro agent’s hoverboard and another to a button nearby, raising electrical stakes hidden from the ground and electrocuting the other agents. Rizwan and Dos escaped from them.
Their computer got destroyed during the ambush, so they went to Komeng and Abang Bear to get spare parts replacement. They disassembled Komeng’s new laptop and repaired their computer, and rewatched the CCTV footage of Cyberscience Center. They found recordings of Dato’ Hisham giving Cinco his access card, and Rizwan deduced that Dato’ Hisham might be the Cero he was looking for.
The day of Arena final round, Rizwan and Dos disguised themselves as Cyberaya’s politician to sneak into Dato’ Hisham Arena viewing event. Dos procured two fake IDs for them, and they bypass the security with ease. They sat separately in the auditorium room and watched every one of Dato’ Hisham’s move. Rizwan saw a smiling Ali on the screen and felt bad as he watched the boy he left behind.
Mid-Arena round, Dato’ Hisham received an unknown call and walked out of the auditorium room to answer it. Rizwan took down his security guards, pinned Dato’ Hisham to the wall and confronted him with the CCTV footage from Cyberscience Center. Rizwan was convinced Dato’ Hisham is Cero until he saw the calls flashing on Dato’ Hisham’s phone. He remembered his mission to track down Dr. Aaron with Ali and Bakar once back at Menara Alpha, and immediately realised they have gotten it all wrong.
Rizwan and Dos got attacked by Agent Fit, Agent Bobby, and the two previous M.A.T.A. Agents that ambushed them in their hideout. Rizwan tried to inform Fit about Dato’ Hisham being in danger, but Fit ignored him. Numeros arrived and Trez, Sies and Siete took down the Neuro agent trying to escort Dato’ Hisham to safety.
Dato’ Hisham’s secretary, Julia, received a call from Nueve and got brainwashed into letting Numeros walked in the restricted area freely. Dato’ Hisham tried to run away from Numeros, and Rizwan, Dos, Fit & Bobby helped protected him. Rizwan stayed behind so Fit can escaped with Dato’ Hisham. The brainwashed Julia brought Dato’ Hisham and Fit to Dato’ Hisham’s office.
Rizwan pinned down Trez and demanded Trez to tell him Cero’s plan, but Trez activated the microbugs in him and sent Rizwan flying. Sies and Siete did the same too, and they took Dos, Bobby, the combat agent and Rizwan down. Siete tried to hit Dos after her brave remark, but Trez stopped him, sparing Dos.
Dos woke Rizwan up. Rizwan confused Dos as Akram before sobering up. He took out the last thing he got from Professor Akram and looked at the pill hidden in the communication device pod. He remembered his last conversation with Akram where he told Rizwan that Rizwan can activate the leftover microbugs in his body by taking the pill. Rizwan’s hand shook as he made the risky decision.
The leftover microbugs accelerated his speed and strength, allowing him to take out Nueve instantly, but Trez stopped him from reaching Dato’ Hisham first by standing in the way of Rizwan’s trajectory. Rizwan damaged Trez’s right arm and tanked an attack from Sies and Siete for Dos. He kicked the twin’s football at them, taking out both Sies and Siete. Dos helped finished the job by electrocuting Siete with her Shox Stix. Rizwan fought Trez and dismembered Trez’s robotic right arm from him, and fueled by adrenaline and microbugs, Rizwan punched Trez repeatedly until Dos stopped him, looking at Trez worriedly. Dos took out the helmet worn by Dato’ Hisham, disconnecting Cinco’s access to Cyberaya mainframe, allowing Ali and Alicia to defeat Cinco for good.
Rizwan escaped from the scene and was ready to leave with his bike, but Dos stopped him. Rizwan told Dos that she is now free as Cinco is gone, and he can find Cero by himself. Cero, controlling Trez’s body, challenged Rizwan to find him and taunt him with how Uno joined him voluntarily, and can made judgment with his own mind, and believed even Rizwan will come to the same conclusion as Uno did. Rizwan told Cero to stop dreaming, and Cero stop his control over Trez’s body, letting Trez flopped down to the ground. Dos rushed to Trez’s side and requested Rizwan to help free Trez from the microbugs as well.
MISSION: S.A.T.R.I.A.[]
Ali found a random lollipop among the groceries he was paying, and ran outside the convenience store to see Dos and Trez waiting for him. They signalled to him to follow them, and they lead him to Rizwan. Ali asked if it’s okay for him to be seen around, as M.A.T.A. is looking for him, and Rizwan told Ali that “their work isn’t done yet”, and shares information about Cero and his threat against Cyberaya. Rizwan requested Ali’s help in providing him M.A.T.A. mission files, but got rejected by Ali. Rizwan respected his decision and promised to come for Ali anytime Ali needs him. He reminded Ali that he is no longer an agent before leaving.
Later, at a port harbour, the pirate boss previously robbing the Azurium Refinery was seen accessing one of the port containers, packing his things up as he was going to run away from an unknown person. He noticed a person creeping up on him, and shot his gun at said person, only for Trez to deflect the bullet with his terminator arm. Trez, whose body was controlled by Cero, grabbed the pirate boss by the neck and accused him of treason. The pirate boss begged Cero for mercy as he still hasn’t gotten married yet. Rizwan walked in, and Trez revealed that the bluish veins on his face was painted and he was using voice changer to sound like Cero. The pirate boss tried to attack them for tricking him, but Dos took him down from behind. She received an alert from her gadget and told Rizwan that Ali is currently going on a mission.
The next day, Rizwan looked at his information board intently, and Dos asked Rizwan what he was thinking about. Rizwan shared to her about his deduction regarding Cero’s motives and targets, and asked her about Ali. She shared a CCTV recording of Ali’s mission at Cyberaya Smart Tunnel to him, and Rizwan notice about the changes in Neonimus’s approach. Trez informed them about the Spiderobos he has taken apart and show them the multiple signals the Spiderobos was connected to, and point to them a notable location that only the three of them know.
They went to a fallen cave outside of Cyberaya’s reach, the place that once served as a base for Numeros before Rizwan blew it to smithereens. Dos questioned the validity of the intel as she claimed they have been using it for years and yet they have never found anything suspicious. Rizwan noticed a hole where rats were skittering about around, and revealed to both Dos and Trez a secret door leading to a hidden basement. They climbed down and found a still-active server running inside it. Trez installed his “Trezware 3.5” and hacked the server, and found traces of Neonimus there. The screen flickered to reveal Neonimus is currently located at M.A.T.A. HQ, and also shows them footage of Agent Razman checking Neonimus’s confiscated item. The screen flickered to show Cero’s symbol, showing them that he is aware of them snooping around. The alarm in the basement blared and Rizwan and the others climbed out of the basement and found themselves surrounded by Neonimus’s army of Spiderobos. They braced themselves for a fight.
Rizwan contacted Ali using the lollipop he gave him and warned him to take Neonimus out of M.A.T.A. HQ, as everything is going as Cero’s planned. By the time Rizwan, Dos and Trez managed to fight their way out and reached M.A.T.A. HQ, they found the place in ruin and Neonimus taunting a broken-spirit Ali. Dos took Neonimus down from behind and Rizwan kneeled down, comforting Ali and encouraging him to fight back. Ali remembered his friendship with Alicia and stood up, synchronising I.R.I.S. to himself. He apologised to Rizwan for not helping him previously and corrected himself with “Uncle Rizwan” instead of “Agent Rizwan”. Dos sneaked a little laugh and teased Rizwan with “Uncle Rizwan”, and asked for a plan to take down Cero. Trez messed around with Neonimus’s game console and found that the console was connected to M.A.T.A. HQ’s power, and tried to destroy it by stomping on it. Ali stopped him as he noticed I.R.I.S. detected something useful with the console.
Rizwan, Dos, Trez, and Ali left the HQ and went to Azurium Refinery to track down Cero, and Ali used I.R.I.S. and Neonimus’s game console to create an antivirus that can combat the hack planted in S.A.T.R.I.A., so they can disconnect S.A.T.R.I.A. from Cero’s control. Trez was confused to see the lack of security and Rizwan asked Ali to scan the area with I.R.I.S., and Ali comply. They found Cero at the control room.
Dos threw her Shox Stix at Cero and Cero caught it, telling them he expected them to be here. Rizwan threatened to destroy Cero right here, right now, and threw his lollipop stick at Cero, initiating the fight. Cero shared to them about “Island Protocol” and his plan to blew up some part of Cyberaya with Azurium. Trez lost his patience and threw a gas tank at him, and Dos followed up the attack, and they managed to pin down Cero.
Dos tried to cut Cero’s left hand, but Ali stopped her as Cero is currently using Alicia’s body as his host. The hesitation allowed Cero to free himself and took down Trez. They attacked him again, but Cero managed to pin both Ali and Dos down with a gravity net. Rizwan fought Cero alone and Cero tried to slice Rizwan with a Plasma Blade, but Dos stopped the attack. She was sent flying with a laser attack, dropping her blade near Ali. Ali used it to free himself from the gravity net and attacked Cero but lose as well. Cero tried to start his Azurium bomb, and out of desperation, Ali activated Override Mode and enter S.A.T.R.I.A. Dimension.
Rizwan stood up and check on Ali, but Ali did not respond to him. He checked the terminal control next but cannot access it as well, slamming his fist down on it. Cero came back alive and went straight to attacking Ali, and Rizwan tanked the attack, demanding Cero to tell him what he has done to Ali. Cero fought Ali in S.A.T.R.I.A. Dimension and Rizwan in the physical world, until the Pillar Leaders - Dayang, Ganz, Amir, and Elle – joined in the fight and helped Rizwan protect Ali. Rizwan helped Dayang trapped S.A.T.R.I.A. in a magnetic field, and the disturbance woke Alicia up in the Dimension.
Ali and Alicia fought against Cero in the Dimension and won, cutting Cero’s control on S.A.T.R.I.A.. Ali woke up and ran to Alicia’s body, frantically waking her up, but she did not respond.
A few days or weeks later, Dayang and Ganz were dismissed from their Pillar Leaders position by Dato’ Othman, and Ganz followed Dayang to M.A.T.A. storage room. Rizwan appeared from his hiding spot and informed Dayang about the gaming console he got from Neonimus, and how it contained all records of their plans, communication logs, and so on. Dayang asked if Rizwan has tracked their location down, and Rizwan admitted to not having done so, as that information was encrypted. He was hoping Dayang would help him decrypt it, and Dayang seemed inclined to help him, while Ganz still did not trust Rizwan, questioning Dayang’s decision.
Gadgets[]
Pressure Pointer Gloves: Agent Rizwan wears a pair of gloves that causes a small tremor that shocks the enemy's nervous system upon contact, paralysing them. The gloves was designed in a way that allow Rizwan to pressure point enemy regardless of the surface in between the attack and the target point (such as clothes material)[2]. They are also sometimes referred to as "Paralyser Gloves".
Camouflage Suit: Agent Rizwan's agent suit allows him to disguise himself as anyone under the sun, be it security guards or robots, sowing confusion among the enemy as he blends into the crowds in plain sight.
Lollipop Stick: The most notable thing about Agent Rizwan is that he is constantly sucking on a lollipop. Once he finishes the candy or bites the lollipop to pieces, Rizwan flings the stick to hit an enemy's vital point, knocking them out; another way of paralyzing his opponents.
Microbugs Injection: Rizwan was injected with specially programmed microbugs that helps expedite inner cells recovery when he was with Numeros. It helps Rizwan to recover faster from his previous heavy injury, while also increasing his movement speed and his attack strength. The downside is that the microbugs were also programmed to allow Uno, Cinco, or Cero to control his body remotely, causing him to attack allies or moved around without his consent. With Professor Akram's help, he was able to remove most of the microbugs within him, but some traces remained. Those traces was not enough to allow Cinco to control his body anymore, but was enough to still give him some of the buffs previously attained.

Ali is Rizwan’s mentee. Initially, Rizwan disagreed with General Rama’s decision to allow Ali to participate in any M.A.T.A. missions, but he obeyed regardless and teamed up with him from time-to-time. Doubtful of Bakar’s ability to train Ali, he offered to mentor Ali and helped him to increase his efficiency with I.R.I.S., and under Rizwan’s mentorship, Ali managed to unlock Override Mode for the first time, and was capable of finishing a mission by himself and without help. Rizwan’s tutorship does bring a negative side effect in that Ali imitated Rizwan’s tendency to do things by himself and not relying on his teammates as much, bringing him trouble at the Academy. Although Rizwan rejected Ali’s hands of friendship during their training together as he’d rather keep their relationship strictly professional, he does cares for the boy, seen by him not wanting Ali to be there to witness his deflection from M.A.T.A., and feeling bad about leaving Ali behind. His soft spot for Ali is known by both Dos and Trez, with Dos referring to Ali as “his boy (budak kau)”. While Ali is conflicted with Rizwan’s deflection from M.A.T.A., he doesn’t seem to ever doubt that Rizwan is not his enemy, and accepted Rizwan back in his life without much resistance. Rizwan promised Ali that he will always be there for him if he ever needed help. After Ali lose to Cero and Neonimus, he comforted Ali and gave him pep talk to fight back and help protect Cyberaya together.
Djin/Uno:Rizwan & Djin Djin was Rizwan's mentor and they were very close together, and Rizwan was Djin's best student. Rizwan is described by Agent Zain to be similar to Djin, in that he likes to act by himself. His death caused Rizwan to withdrawn from others. Rizwan was conflicted with Djin's return as Uno, but he still refuse to betray M.A.T.A. for him and tried his best to stop Uno when Uno tried to take I.R.I.S. away from Ali[3]. After hearing the truth about Uno from the Pillar Leaders, Rizwan deflected from M.A.T.A. to determine by himself whether the current Uno is the same Djin that he used to know. He tried to persuade Uno to made peace with the other Pillar Leaders, but was rejected heavily. This caused him to come to the conclusion that Uno is no longer the person he knew, and he betrayed Uno and Numeros by bombing their base, with the hope that his action can stopped a war before it even happen. Uno controlled his body via the microbugs injection he gave Rizwan previously to shut down the defense system in Academy Island for easy invasion. While Rizwan refused to side with Uno because his plan will cause a lot of casualties, Dos called him out that his loyalty does lies with Djin, which is why he can't return back to M.A.T.A. after finding out the truth about Djin[4]. Her word has truth to it as Rizwan blamed the Pillar Leaders' action as the reason why Djin became Uno[5].
General Rama: General Rama was Rizwan's superior, and they have a professional relationship with each other. General Rama trusted Rizwan by a lot, such as by appointing him as one of the agent to track down the mole hidden in M.A.T.A., and describing him to Pillar Leaders as a loyal agent. Although Rizwan issued a Gegas Protocol order towards Alicia, who is General Rama's daughter, he didn't held grudge at Rizwan. General Rama even worried about Rizwan for reporting to duty and for joining in on mission before fully recovering from injuries he retained from Uno. General Rama currently tried to capture Rizwan for his betrayal, under M.A.T.A.'s order.
Jenny was Rizwan's coworker whom he trust and worked well with. He trusted Jenny's decision making and for her to protect Ali at M.A.T.A. Base bunker from Numeros. They were assigned together by General Rama to track down the mole in M.A.T.A.. Rizwan held grudge at Cinco for betraying M.A.T.A. and returned the favor by bombing Numeros base. Cinco disliked Rizwan by a lot and distrust him, and expected him to betray them when he first joined Numeros. She was also a lot harsher to him compared to when she was Jenny, as she forced an injured Rizwan to retrieve Cuatro and ordered Ocho to destroy him if he failed his retrieval task.
Alicia: Alicia was Rizwan's teammate. While they respected each other as fellow M.A.T.A. agents, sometimes Alicia got wrapped up with arguing with Ali that Rizwan had to remind both of them not to embarrass him in front of the enemies. Alicia grew wary of him after he ordered Gegas Protocol to Ali so Ali can focus on mission and abandoned a compromised Alicia to death, and she warned Ali to be careful of him during his mentorship. Despite that, Alicia shows sympathy for Ali whenever topic about Rizwan was brought up around Ali.
Bakar was Rizwan's coworker. While they worked well together with them showing concern for each other if one of them got hurt, Rizwan has the impression that Bakar is not a very smart guy[6], and was surprised that Bakar can outsmarted them enough to work as a mole for Numeros. Rizwan is doubtful of Bakar's ability to train Ali, but he trusted his agent skills, as he sent Bakar to track down Dos & Trez by himself as Bakar is already strong enough alone, and paired Ali and Alicia together instead of Ali and Bakar together. Bakar was the most hurt by Rizwan's betrayal (after Ali). Rizwan did apologize to him for unintentionally bringing Numeros to M.A.T.A. Academy Island.
Comot: Comot was Rizwan's teammate. When General Rama doubted Ali's word about Comot helping them during mission to retrieve I.R.I.S. blueprint back, Rizwan backed Ali and Comot up.
Professor Akram and Rizwan was acquainted back when they were M.A.T.A. agents together. Professor Akram seems to know Rizwan well enough that he let his guard down for him, but restrained Rizwan to his chair when Rizwan brought up about Uno. Rizwan brought Professor Akram back to Numeros base, and they worked together to destroy I.R.I.S. files and bombed Numeros base. Professor Akram distrust Rizwan and blamed him for bringing him back to Numeros, and told Rizwan directly that he will be responsible for a lot of casualties for siding with Uno. Professor Akram was willing to throw Rizwan under the bus for his family's sake when he thought Uno, who turned out to be Rizwan in disguise, had captured him. Their bond grew by each day, with Professor Akram helping to remove microbugs trace in Rizwan's body, and help provided visions for Rizwan at Cyberscience Center. Rizwan inspired Professor Akram to stand up against Numeros and Cero. He met his demise while helping Rizwan & Dos, and Rizwan saved his picture of him and his family. Rizwan humanized Professor Akram to Dos by calling him with "Akram" instead of his Numeros codename.
Dos was Rizwan's enemies back when Rizwan was working for M.A.T.A.. Both of them were described to have the same skill sets, such as being good with stealth, disguises, and close-ranged combat skills[7]. Dos disliked Rizwan at first, and felt jealous when Uno claimed that Rizwan is the most suitable person to sneak into M.A.T.A. Academy to shut down their defense system[8]. After Uno's death and Cinco took over, Dos deflected from Numeros and decided to allied with Rizwan instead. Rizwan distrust Dos, but Dos demonstrated her loyalty again and again by saving him from Cinco, not running away or leaving him behind when Rizwan fainted, and assisting him in his vigilante mission to track down Cinco or Cero. Dos seems to be the one person to understand Rizwan the most, as they both shared a similar trait - their loyalty lies with Djin/Uno, not with anybody else like M.A.T.A. or Cinco. She also is aware of Rizwan's soft spot for Ali, and used "your boy" to refer to Ali when talking to Rizwan. She is often attentive to his behaviour or emotions, such as when he felt sad about Akram's demise[9], and when he was looking over his evidence board while figuring out Cero's motives[10]. Despite being free from Cinco and Cero's clutches since she already has microbugs inside her removed, she willingly follow Rizwan around and assisting him with his personal agenda from time-to-time, alongside Trez.
Trez was Rizwan's enemies back when he was working for M.A.T.A.. They often fought against each other. After Cinco's death, Dos requested Rizwan to help him. Trez is now seen working with Rizwan and Dos in tracking down and fighting against Cero, and he helped Rizwan from time-to-time such as by watching over Ali for Rizwan during Ali's first S.A.T.R.I.A. mission, tracking down Neonimus signals, etc.
Zain, Dayang and Ganz: Zain, Dayang, and Ganz are M.A.T.A. Pillar Leaders and Rizwan's superior. After Djin returned as Uno, Rizwan requested an audience with them and demanded the truth, and they told him the truth out of respect to Rizwan as their agent and also as Djin's mentee. Dayang underestimated the depth of Rizwan and Djin's bond, and didn't expect him to deflect from M.A.T.A. after hearing the truth[11]. Ganz was afraid that Uno's strength would grow, now that Rizwan has sided with him. Zain, however, understand that Rizwan is similar to Djin and that he wasn't really betraying them. They were all angry with Rizwan for potentially ruining M.A.T.A. for prioritising a personal agenda and working by himself, and for not respecting M.A.T.A. code of conduct. Rizwan blamed the Pillar Leaders for turning Djin into Uno due to their Gegas Protocol action. In MISSION: S.A.T.R.I.A., Rizwan requested Dayang's help to decrypt Neonimus's file, and she seemed inclined to help him, but Ganz hasn't fully trust Rizwan again yet. It seems the current direction is that Rizwan, Dayang, and Ganz will work together to track down Cero for Cyberaya's sake.
Cero: Cero is Rizwan's enemy. After Uno passed away, Rizwan refused to let it go and decided that his new mission is to track down Cinco and Cero. Rizwan planned to protect Cyberaya from Cero, and he is dedicated to this plan. Cero challenged Rizwan (using Trez's body as a communicator) to find him and even taunt Rizwan that Djin himself willingly worked for him.

His reputation as a skillful agent is well known throughout M.A.T.A..
In the 5th issue of the Ejen Ali Magazine, Ali and Bakar discovers Rizwan's stash of lollipops, including one that is rendang-flavoured.
Rizwan can disguise as someone with his suit (similar to Rudy, which he can disguise as someone with his hoodie).
One of the four leaders of M.A.T.A., Djin, is Rizwan's former mentor. He is now known as Uno and the leader of enemy spies.
The three other leaders used Protocol GEGAS on Djin in order to save Cyberaya, which means leaving him behind. He was presumed to have perished, but somehow managed to survive.
Initially, Rizwan is supposed to be portrayed as the traitor in M.A.T.A.. However, the idea is changed to Jenny because it is too obvious and predictable for the viewers to guess that Rizwan is the traitor.
Same as Trez, his nerve can be controlled by Uno due to microbug injections given to him.
Rizwan's character arc paralleled Ali's.
Rizwan is revealed to be past Arena's champion, alongside Aliya, General Rama, Rahul, Razman, Fit, and Bobby.[12]
